It is with great sadness that we have to make the decision to cancel the spring production of The Importance. This is a very difficult time for communities everywhere, and the #1 priority is safety.
This is a postponement. We are determined to produce the show as part of Franklin's 2020-2021 season. For those not graduating, you will be allowed to keep the role you have been cast in should you still wish to participate in the show when the time comes. Obviously, scheduling and the like is all completely up in the air.
Playwright Sara Jean Accuardi wants all of you to know how disappointed she is that she could not meet this cast in full. And she looks forward to collaborating with many of you next season.
